From the M4/Cardiff
Leave the M4 at junction 32 and join the A470 and follow signs for Merthyr Tydfil. Stay on the A470, continue straight over all roundabouts heading for Brecon, past Merthyr Tydfil. You will pass
3 reservoirs on the left hand side and then the Storey Arms outdoor centre. Just after this is a particularly windy stretch of the road follow by 2 long straights. At the end of the second there is
a turning left signposted Defynnog. Take this turning and stay on this road until you see the sign above (about 4 miles).
From the M5
Leave at junction 8 onto the M50 heading towards Monmouth / Ross on Wye. Follow signs for Abergavenny, the motorway ends and continue straight onto the A40 following signs for Abergavenny. When you reach Abergavenny, continue on the A40 following signs for Brecon. At Brecon roundabout take the 1st exit onto
the Brecon bypass. At the second roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A470 signposted Cardiff. In approx. 8 miles turn right onto the A4215 signposted Defynnog. Stay on this road until you see the sign above (about 4 miles).
From Swansea
Head onto the A4067 towards Brecon until you reach Defynnog. Just after the Tanners Arms pub (on the right), turn right signposted Merthyr Tydfil. In about a mile you will see the sign above.
From Camarthen/West Wales
Head towards Brecon on the A40. Just after Sennybridge, turn right onto the A4067 signposted Swansea. You will shortly enter Defynnog, take the left turn signposted Merthyr Tydfil. In a mile or so you will see the sign above.
From Hereford/North Wales
Head towards brecon on the A438. At Brecon roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Brecon bypass. At the second roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A470 signposted Cardiff. In approx. 8 miles turn right onto the A4215 signposted Defynnog. ]
Stay on this road until you see the sign above (about 4 miles).
