Heron Cottages welcome guests with disabilities but we do ask guests to bear the following in mind when considering either of our cottages:-
- The car parking area and driveway are paved in loose gravel.
- The garden area can be accessed directly from Heron Cottage but from Kingfisher Cottage guests need to access the garden by walking around the cottages across a lawned area.
- All bedrooms are on the first floor.
- As the cottages are a part of a converted barn there are naturally some low exposed beams.
- The shower in Kingfisher Cottage is over the bath, there is currently no shower in Heron Cottage.
- The kitchen and dining areas in both cottages are on a different level from the lounge area with a few steps.
